That's right, you can now have your own designs digitally printed onto cotton fabric and produced in either 8x8 inch swatches, fat quarters or by the yard. The great news is there isn't a minimum order.
Spoonflower is a new US business that has just come out of their testing phase which means you can now sign up through their website and start the process of creating your very own fabric masterpieces.
Just imagine how more personal your gifts could be by not only making something for someone, but actually using your own material for the present. From table runners, bags, pillows, chair covers, clothing, notebook coverings to panels for quilts this will open up a whole new creative realm. You could also sell your fabric through the etsy shop.
I haven't used it yet, but it is very tempting to have a go. There are many resources through their website and blog for inspiration. The only drawback at the moment for Australian residents might be the cost due to the current dollar value.

Onto another subject...we attended a friend's wedding on Saturday. It was just a perfect day, the weather was superb, the venue magnificent and had great fun at the reception with lots of dancing! Here is a fun picture of the bride with all the fellas. Her husband is the one in the middle.
Just have to show you a close up of the dress. The lace was just beautiful as you can see here.
